Free Spinal Check for You, Your Business or at Your Event

Many people are unsure if they should visit a chiropractor as they may have heard different stories about what is involved, if they are suitable, or what a chiropractor does. One of the ways that we let people know who we are and what we do is to offer a free spinal check and postural assessment service or a complimentary telephone consultation.

What Is a Spinal Check?

A spinal check is a relaxed and informal 10-15 minute appointment that offers you a chance to meet a chiropractor to talk about your health concerns, whether it is a recent injury, longstanding pain or illness.

A short medical history may be taken, and if necessary, a brief physical examination is carried out, though no treatment takes place. We will give you feedback about what we have found and an explanation as to why it might be occurring.

If we feel you could benefit from chiropractic care, we can give you information about booking in for a full initial consultation at the practice. This will allow time for a much more thorough assessment and examination to be conducted.

Spinal checks are available either at our practice in central Hungerford or during one of our local community events and off-site checks.

As an individual, contact our team and simply ask for a spinal check appointment.

As part of our commitment to the local community, we are happy to donate our time to provide this service in a workplace, for a local business or employer, at a sports club, leisure centre, fête or event.

As an Individual or Employer, Why Should Spinal Health Matter to You?

  • Each person suffering from such a condition took an estimated 17.4 days off work on average in this period.
  • The charity BackCare estimates that back pain costs the NHS, business and the economy over £5 billion a year.
