I Really Fell In Love with Chiropractic
I was born and grew up in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. Like the rest of my family, I received regular Chiropractic care from a young age in order to correct any undetected problems swiftly to aid an ongoing healthy lifestyle. However, my passion for Chiropractic was not truly ignited until I observed my own Chiropractor during some work experience. It was then that I really fell in love with the profession. I was amazed to see how Chiropractors could change so many people's lives not just with respect to their symptoms, but also by enhancing their overall health, vitality and zest for life. I studied for 4 years at the University of Glamorgan to obtain my Chiropractic degree.
Keeping the Spine & Nervous System Healthy
I believe in keeping the spine and nervous system healthy for the whole body to work at its optimum. With this in mind, I will help you understand how your nervous system functions, in order for you to take an active role in your own recovery and ongoing health. I also have a particular interest in using medical acupuncture, which can be very effective in relieving muscular discomfort. I have undertaken post–graduate training in two areas of special interest: rehabilitation and paediatric Chiropractic. I love working with women during their pregnancy and with children of all ages.
Giving you the Best Possible Care
I believe it’s important to look after myself so that I can give you the best possible care. Currently I am receiving regular Chiropractic check-ups, I get to the gym regularly and have just taken up running (well really its ‘jogging’ at the moment!). I am very excited by nutrition, and do try to maintain a healthy diet. You will often see an odd looking concoction on my desk – my green drink – which keeps me vitalized throughout my busy day.
